On this field trip, we’ll explore Christine’s toolkit of creative sketching prompts to give you a bucket-load of inspiration so you’ll never run out of sketching ideas in the field.

I'm a naturalist, educator, and illustrator from Oregon. I teach nature sketching classes for both youth and adults locally as well as online. After the pandemic subsides, I hope to resume leading sketching retreats to Central American destinations.

Meet in front of Mott Training Center, Whitehead entrance (#3 on event map)--please find your instructor and gather to plan for carpooling or walking to the field site. Time allocation includes assembly, travel, & class time. Location: Pacific Grove area. NOTE: locations may be subject to change due to weather or other circumstances regardless of where you go, the experience will be fantastic!
  Field Trip, Practicum
  • Requirements Your sketching kit; water, hat, layers in case the weater is cold, sunscreen, walking shoes, snacks.
